Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Kishan Bhat Kumble (sole proprietor), trading as GetSubmita (“GetSubmita”) collects, why, and how it is protected.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, business email, phone number, and the business details you give us for the listings (business name, website, address, category, descriptions, logo and images).
- Public company information: if you choose the LinkedIn option, the public details on your LinkedIn company page, collected through a data provider. When anyone uses the LinkedIn lookup on our homepage, we keep only the public details it shows (company name, website, category, address, a short description and logo link) so the same page loads instantly next time. We also keep a one-way hash of the visitor’s IP address for 24-hour rate limiting; we cannot recover the IP address from it.
- Payment information: handled by Razorpay. We receive the payment status and reference, not your card or bank details.
- Account and usage data: your sign-in email for the dashboard, and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
- To submit your business details to the directories in your plan. Your business details become public on those directories; that is the purpose of the service.
- To check your listings, measure your SEO numbers and prepare your reports.
- To contact you about your order and provide support.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Who we share it with
- The directories in your plan (your business details only).
- Service providers that run our service: Razorpay (payments), Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), our LinkedIn data provider, and Open PageRank (public SEO metrics for your domain).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How we protect it
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Access is limited to the people who run the service, and each client can see only their own dashboard.
How long we keep it
We keep order data for as long as your tracking period runs and then as long as tax and accounting law requires. Screenshots and working files are deleted when they are no longer needed for your reports.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to support@getsubmita.com. Listings already published on directories are controlled by those directories; we will help you request changes or removal where they allow it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the site working. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
